About White Deer Run
White Deer Run is a network of treatment centers located throughout the state of Pennsylvania. In 16 different locations, White Deer Run helps treat individuals who are struggling with substance abuse, as well as those who are afflicted with co-occurring disorders. We specifically treat individuals who are addicted to substances like alcohol, heroin, cocaine, meth, stimulants, inhalants, opioids, prescription drugs, and synthetic marijuana, as well as individuals who suffer from co-occurring conditions including bipolar disorder, posttraumatic stress disorder, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, depression, and anxiety. At White Deer Run, it is our primary objective to help guide patients towards recovery and a better way of life, and we do that through the provision of a number of programs, such as residential rehabilitation, a traditional outpatient program (OP), an intensive outpatient program (IOP), gender-specific halfway houses, medically monitored detoxification, and a partial hospitalization program (PHP). About Our Outpatient Treatment Center
White Deer Run offers both traditional outpatient programming and an intensive outpatient program through New Perspectives. At this location, adults who engage in the intensive outpatient program will receive nine hours per week of treatment, and can choose to participate in a daytime or evening track. The daytime track occurs on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., while the evening track occurs on the same days, but between 6:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. The type of therapy that is offered through the intensive outpatient program can include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), rational emotive behavior therapy (REBT), motivational interviewing, and the 12-Step recovery model. Patients will also go over topics including education of the disease, recovery support, relationships and recovery, physical recovery, and character defects/value systems and recovery. Patients enrolled in this program will also benefit from individual and group therapy sessions. Admissions Process at Our Treatment Center
The staff at White Deer Run understands that asking for help is often the hardest part of an individual's recovery, which is why we work tirelessly to ensure that the admissions process is simple. Individuals who are looking for treatment can contact any one of our locations, or call the National Resource Center, which is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. From that point, patients (depending on the location), will be pre-screened and then provided with a detailed assessment. Professionals at White Deer Run work with prospective patients to gather information regarding their backgrounds. That information will be supplied to our clinical staff, who will then decide if the treatment we supply at our centers is the appropriate fit for our patients. If so, patients can supply their insurance information in order for us to begin verifying it. While each individual program possesses its own criteria for admissions, White Deer Run as a whole requires that patients must be struggling with a primary diagnosis of substance abuse.
