Longbranch Wellness is an Intensive Outpatient Program dedicated to the success of clients struggling with substance abuse issues and/or mental heath issues. We provide compassionate, holistic care based on evidence-based practices in a comfortable environment. Located in Metairie and Covington, we implement a variety of clinical and medical treatment modalities to treat the disease of addiction from an integrative perspective. Our goal is to enable and empower our clients to address their problems and begin a new life of freedom.

Longbranch Recovery Center is a comprehensive residential treatment program incorporating counseling with physician-managed care for addiction and co-occurring disorders. Our holistic and integrative approach to recovery centers on compassionate care and intensive therapeutic treatment. With a 6:1 clinician to client ratio; residents receive individualized programming from evidence-based treatment modalities. Our treatment protocol for Longbranch Recovery residents includes: meeting with our psychologist weekly who specializes in grief/trauma/ PTSD to address underlying issues that contribute to addiction, meeting weekly with our psychiatrist- an addiction treatment and integrative medicine specialist, meeting with their clinician multiple times per week, attending daily peer-group therapy sessions with other residents, participating in yoga and meditation classes with our certified teacher 5 times a week, educational sessions and presentations by doctors/psychologists/clinicians in addition to speakers from various recovery support communities, attend outside 12-step and recovery meetings. The family can expect a robust continuum of care plan that includes, but is not limited to, 6 months to 1 year family case management, national client extended care placement, sober living recommendations and facility-to-facility transportation services, collaborative relationships and open lines of communications with referring clinicians

We provide expert inpatient care for young people ages 13-17 who are experiencing symptoms of mental health concerns and co-occurring addictions. In our adolescent inpatient program, we offer a variety of age-appropriate therapies and services to promote healing and deliver effective support for patients. Your child’s care plan at our inpatient treatment center can include basic medical care, medication management services, individual and family therapies, and experiential therapies. We also feature a robust group therapy schedule that may cover topics such as goals, coping skills, self-esteem building, the importance of community, and daily living skills. Another modality we frequently use in our adolescent program is cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). CBT is an evidence-based therapy that can help young people adjust their thoughts and behaviors in positive ways to overcome challenges, reduce stress, and better manage their symptoms.

The adult inpatient program at River Place Behavioral Health serves patients age 18 and older who are experiencing acute symptoms of mental health concerns. These concerns can include depression, anxiety, schizophrenia, posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), bipolar disorder, and suicidal ideation. Our programming also supports people who are battling an addiction in addition to a primary diagnosis of a mental health disorder. Adults in our inpatient program usually remain in our care for about five to 10 days, though this can vary depending on their needs. Group therapy is typically a major focus of our acute services, and adults must be able to participate in group therapy sessions to take part in our inpatient program. Social workers, counselors, nurses, and behavioral health technicians typically lead our daily group therapy programming. In addition to attending regular group sessions with our qualified staff members, adults in our inpatient program can participate in individual and family therapies. Additionally, we offer art, music, and movement-based therapies to provide a well-rounded and holistic treatment experience.

Meeting the unique personal needs of each patient is a priority at our hospital. That’s why each person who is admitted to our inpatient program completes a thorough medical and psychological assessment. We then create a personalized treatment plan that may include a variety of clinical services, such as basic medical care, medication management services, detoxification, individual therapy, multiple types of group therapy, and family therapy. We also develop detailed discharge plans to promote continued progress after a patient has completed their stay with us. Patients typically remain in our inpatient treatment program for five to seven days.

At Acadiana, located in Sunset, Louisiana, we offer an accredited school program, Edgenuity, for school-age girls who are receiving residential treatment. Our education program is state-accredited and enables students to earn academic credits and keep up with their studies while receiving mental health and addiction treatment at our center. Middle school students can complete the same coursework they would in their schools at home, and high school students can work toward their GEDs or high school diplomas. School is held Monday-Friday in our on-campus family building, where youths can meet face to face with a teacher on a rotating schedule. Our teachers are certified and licensed by the state of Louisiana, and they are committed to helping our clients navigate academic learning while they receive mental healthcare. Our goal is to help students return to the appropriate level of education when they complete residential programming at our center.

At Acadiana Treatment Center, located in Sunset, Louisiana, a short drive from Lafayette, we provide clinically excellent residential care for young women ages 12-17 who are struggling with mental health concerns and co-occurring addictions. We believe that because adolescents are going through developmental changes, they need age-specific services to achieve the most optimal outcomes. In our residential treatment program, we tailor each girl’s care to help them heal. Our team gathers information about each client’s background, symptoms, and therapeutic goals so that we can design a personalized treatment plan for them. We understand that healing is a process, and we want to meet each young woman where they are on their journey. To do this, we spend time getting to know each person we serve, and we listen to each client’s input as we work together. The typical length of stay in our residential program is between three and six months, though the exact duration of care depends on the client’s progress and needs.
