Individual, group, and family therapy in the RTC includes
cognitive
behavior therapy (
CBT
), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), motivational interviewing, and the matrix model for addressing chemical dependency concerns.
Located in a historic neighborhood in Indianapolis, Indiana, Resource Treatment Center is a residential program for children, adolescents, teenagers, and young adults (males and females, ages 8 to 21) who are struggling with emotional, behavioral, developmental, and psychiatric challenges. The program provides a structured secure environment for young clients who require an intensive therapeutic milieu. Resource Treatment Center specializes in caring for young people who have exhibited maladaptive behaviors or psychiatric concerns, including inappropriate conduct, oppositional defiant disorder (ODD), impulsivity, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), mood disorders, and sexual reactivity. Resource Treatment Center offers a program for male clients ages 12 to 20 who have developmental delays and behavioral problems. The primary objective of treatment at Resource Treatment Center is to help all clients achieve the emotional, behavioral, and psychiatric stability that will allow them to successfully reintegrate back into their families, schools, and communities.
