Therapy and Counseling
We offer therapy and counseling for a variety of conditions, diagnoses and concerns. Our therapists provide treatment for depression, anxiety, PTSD, childhood trauma, premarital/marital counseling, adjustment disorders and many other difficulties and basic problems of living. We provide Independent Educational Evaluations, Neuropsychological Assessments, Psychoeducational Assessments, Developmental/Autism Evaluations, Premarital Testing and College/Career Assessment. Our assessment services are for both adults and children. Many elementary through college students seek assessment services to obtained needed accommodations for difficulties such as ADHD, Learning Disorders (dyslexia), Foreign Language substitution, child or adult Autism Spectrum Disorders and other reasons. Many college students are not certain what career they should pursue and what major would best facilitate that goal. Other students worry that the career they are pursuing might not be the best fit for their personality. Such concerns are warranted considering that many successful individuals have suggested that doing work you enjoy is the most important factor in long-term career satisfaction. For that reason, we offer an assessment battery designed to measure the careers that are best suited to an individual's skills, interests and personality. Adults who are considering changing careers have also found this assessment battery to be an invaluable part of their decision-making process. Groups
Social Skills Group
This group is designed for children with social skills difficulties that result from ADHD, Autism Spectrum or other similar conditions. The goal is to provide a safe environment where the children can interact in structured settings while receiving direct feedback from the group facilitator. It provides opportunities for children to practice and/or learn social skills in a less demanding environment to allow them to master such skills and transfer them into natural social settings.
