Since 1975, Interim, Inc. has been a leading provider of mental health services to adults 18+ with mental health conditions in Monterey County. We are the only provider of residential mental health care in Monterey County. We offer multiple programs that provide an effective, accessible alternative to hospitalization with a less intensive level of care. Our main treatment programs include:
Manzanita House: Provides short-term crisis residential treatment for individuals experiencing a mental health crisis. The program focuses on helping clients resolve mental health conditions, learning how to avoid a recurrence, and developing and maintaining coping strategies. Choices: Offers a short-term Intensive Day Treatment Program for adults in a community setting. The program’s goal is to empower clients toward safe, independent, and meaningful living in the community. Keep It Real: Provides community-based support services for individuals with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders who are in recovery. The Academy: Delivers a full-day rehabilitation program designed to meet the special needs of adults with mental health conditions by using wellness and recovery principles and trauma informed practices to assist each client to develop coping and recovery skills.
