Sierra Tucson provides premier outpatient services for adults age 18 and older who are struggling with substance use disorders and mental health concerns. Our outpatient program gives clients the chance to begin or continue their healing process while maintaining their daily routines. Our partial hospitalization program (PHP) provides intensive care that is less restrictive than inpatient hospitalization. PHP participants can receive treatment four days per week for around seven hours daily and go home at night. Our partial hospitalization program offers various medical services and therapies, including group, individual and family counseling. A multidisciplinary team of experienced and licensed counselors, therapists, social workers, nurses and physicians provides these treatments. Those who participate in our PHP typically complete at least two weeks of programming before moving to our intensive outpatient program. The clinic offers two levels of outpatient treatment to help adults whose lives have been disrupted by depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and co-occurring addiction. Our partial hospitalization program (PHP) and intensive outpatient program (IOP) each feature a customized array of evidence-based, research-backed services. Adults can step down to these programs after completing residential or inpatient treatment, step up after completing traditional outpatient care or enter directly at the PHP or IOP level. Each adult undergoes a comprehensive assessment prior to admission that allows our team to develop a personalized treatment plan. At the PHP level, that plan may consist of medication management services, basic medical care, individual therapy, family therapy, group therapy and experiential therapies. Adults in the IOP participate in weekly individual therapy and a variety of daily group therapy sessions. Dr. DalPos is the clinical director. She is a psychotherapist licensed in AZ and nationally certified. She attained her Doctorate In Psychology at Walden University and her Master of Counseling degree at the University of Phoenix. In addition, she has post graduate training in professional addiction counseling. Roxanne serves as adjunct faculty at a local university in the Masters Level Professional Counseling Dept. She also created government approved IOP programming and provided full assessments for court and incarcerated individuals. Mr. Jerry Brown is the Special Program Director. He is educated in counseling and special programs with experience in suicide prevention, Gottman Method relationship coaching, anger management, and domestic violence. He has done substantial training of others in conflict management and managing relationships. Our qualified staff includes bilingual (English/Spanish) providers. All of our providers have the training necessary to provide the service they provide.

3 Levels of Treatment: PHP, IOP & Ongoing Therapy. Recovery Center for the Arts offers 3 Levels of treatment plans designed to empower adult individuals to reclaim their lives, rediscover their inner strengths, and embrace lasting wellness. Level 1: Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) Provides a structured program of outpatient substance abuse and addiction recovery services. Treatment is provided during the day, 5 days a week, for 4 weeks. Inpatient overnight stay not required but supportive living at for men at Garfield House is available for the duration of PHP. Options for women available. Level 2: Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) Is an intensive treatment plan that offers therapy and support sessions several times a week, allowing individuals to maintain their daily routines and responsibilities while receiving focused treatment for addiction. In addition, after completing PHP it is recommended that clients continue with IOP. Care coordinators can help ALL genders secure short and long-term supportive housing. Level 3. Ongoing Outpatient Therapy Involves regularly scheduled counseling and therapeutic sessions for ongoing support.

Sonora Behavioral Health Hospital provides a partial hospitalization program (PHP) for adults age 18 and older and adolescents ages 12-17 who are suffering from mental health concerns such as depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. We also serve people who are struggling with an addiction to substances such as marijuana, alcohol, or cocaine. Day treatment can be an excellent option for people who may benefit from highly structured therapy but don’t need the 24/7 support of an inpatient program. At Sonora Behavioral Health Hospital, we primarily use group therapy to help people learn important skills to manage their symptoms and prevent relapse. Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) forms the foundation of our group therapy sessions, but we also use cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), the 12 Steps of recovery, and the Gorski model of relapse prevention. We may also recommend individual, family, and experiential therapies depending on a person’s specific situation. Most people participate in this program for about two weeks, though each person’s actual length of stay in our program is based on their individual progress.
