Our comprehensive approach lengthens the runway of support that our clients receive. We help you resolve the effects of any physical or emotional trauma you may have experienced in your life through our qualified EMDR therapists. One EMDR session is equal to sixty normal therapy sessions and often gets to the root cause of addiction. We help you develop healthy coping and relationship skills and how to hold boundaries to keep you safe, healthy and happy. If accommodation is required post-treatment, our male or female-only recovery homes provide the ideal transition. Staying in one of our recovery homes while attending our PHP or IOP outpatient treatment is the ideal way to transition back to independent living. Outpatient gives you the opportunity to "put your mental armour back on everyday" and provide you with all the support you need in your recovery. ACT offers structured evidence based program for all levels of acuity; from inpatient detox to Intensive Outpatient Services. ACT patients experience a variety of treatment modalities tailored to the individual and their needs. Patients are seen on an inpatient basis, residential which is housed in the ACT stand-alone residential facility and outpatient services. Patients will participate in all transitional program components. Patients participate in treatment groups, psychoeducational groups, individual counseling, structured activities, and other treatment components.

At Youth Care Treatment Center, we understand that adolescents have unique needs when it comes to behavioral health treatment. At our campus, we offer age-appropriate care through our adolescent partial hospitalization program (PHP) in Draper, Utah. We provide treatment for young people who are struggling with anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), conduct disorders, and attachment disorders. Adolescents ages 13-18 can participate in our PHP and receive targeted therapeutic interventions for nine hours per day, five days per week. This treatment option is ideal for young people who don’t require round-the-clock residential care but would still benefit from intensive therapies. At Youth Care, we understand that every young person's healing journey is unique. Therefore, we believe in personalizing their treatment plan as much as possible. Every adolescent’s experience is different, but most young people participate in our PHP for four to five months. In our PHP, adolescents can engage in several different therapies, such as individual therapy up to three times a week, family therapy once a week, and daily group therapies.

Throughout the 21st century, the United States has been impacted by epidemic levels of opioid abuse, addiction, and overdose. In 2000, opioid overdoses were responsible for about 8,400 deaths in the U.S. By 2020, the annual number of opioid overdose deaths in the U.S. had risen to more than 68,000. Medication-assisted treatment (MAT) is an evidence-based approach that can be a valuable tool in the effort to reverse this trend. People who take part in MAT receive prescription medications that can ease the intense cravings and other distressing symptoms that are characteristic of opioid withdrawal. When they take these medications as directed, they may find it easier to stop using heroin, prescription pills, morphine, fentanyl, and other opioids. However, prescription medication cannot address the behavioral and social aspects of opioid addiction and recovery. To help people make the lifestyle changes that will support long-term recovery from opioid addiction, MAT programs also provide counseling. During counseling sessions, MAT patients can learn to manage stress, resolve conflicts, and deal with other difficult circumstances in a healthy manner without resorting to opioid abuse.

Because we see addiction as a multi-faceted disease that impacts different aspects of an indvidual's well-being, we provide a variety of behavioral therapies, family therapy, physician-directed care, and Medication-Assisted treatment when clinically indicated.
