About Bayside Marin

At our center, we specifically focus on treating those who are addicted to substances such as painkillers, heroin, alcohol, cocaine, and meth, as well as patients who battle anxiety, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, depression, and posttraumatic stress disorder. At Bayside Marin, it is our primary goal to help each patient develop the skills needed to completely and successfully recover from one or more of these conditions. Outpatient Treatment at Bayside Marin
At Bayside Marin, we pride ourselves on offering the utmost quality of care to each of our patients. One way in which we do this is through the provision of our intensive outpatient program, located in San Rafael, California. Within this program, patients who are requiring more care than regular outpatient treatment but less treatment than residential treatment can obtain the appropriate amount of care for them. This intensive outpatient program is broken down into two categories - morning intensive outpatient program and evening intensive outpatient program. Both programs are 10 weeks in length (30 group sessions and 10 individual sessions), family program weekends, education/awareness classes, group acupuncture, referral to self-help groups such as AA, and continuing care. Within this program, whether a patient chooses to engage in the morning or evening intensive outpatient program, he or she will be required to attend a minimum of three outside help groups a week. To kick start the admissions process at Bayside Marin, all prospective patients need to do is call. Admissions counselors are available 24 hours a day to speak with individuals regarding their treatment needs and concerns, as well as answer any questions. Once this called is placed, an individual will complete a professional assessment, which will then yield professional recommendations. If we feel as though we do not have the appropriate treatment available for an individual, we will refer him or her to a center that does. Admissions can be scheduled on short notice. At Bayside Marin, we do everything we can to make the care we supply affordable to all patients. We accept most major insurance providers, including United Healthcare, Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, HMSA, and Value Options.
