About
Getting unstuck & exploring your purpose
We utilize psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy to help clients to get un-stuck. Our aim is to support you in reconnecting to inner sources of meaning, explore your purpose and identify new ways of living a values-driven life. Most of the clients we work with are experiencing some crisis of meaning, stressful life events, trauma, depression, anxiety or grief & loss and are feeling stuck in the patterns of daily life. It can feel hard to break out of these patterns- to the point where it feels like we are just passengers along for the ride. Psychedelic therapy is not specific to a diagnosis. Instead, it's about disrupting patterns, "zooming out" and trying to find a perspective shift, in order to see things in a new light and identify new ways of being in the world. We work with you collaboratively, to co-create a personalized approach to treatment. We believe that the therapeutic relationship is key to the process. We focus on building trusting relationships so that you can feel comfortable "letting go" and allowing yourself to be present with your experience.
Our Process
We put a lot of intention into curating experiences, and strive to make the environment- both physical and emotional- as optimal as we can. We utilize music playlists to help carry your journey, which takes place in a comfortable, non-medical treatment room (see our photos for examples of the room). Our process consists of 4 phases, which are consistent with protocol used by leading research institutions- assessment, preparation, treatment and integration. The assessment phase includes a mental health assessment with your IIT therapist and a medical exam with our physician. In the preparation phase, we spend time building a trusting relationship with your therapist, exploring your intentions, goals and struggles and orienting you towards the psychedelic experience. In the treatment phase, you experience the psychedelic-assisted therapy process accompanied by your therapist and carried by he music. After your journey, we start the integration phase, which focuses on processing your experience, and identifying how to "water the seeds" planted during your psychedelic experience.
Finding meaning in pain
In psychedelic-assisted therapy, there is a phrase that goes, "the only way there, is through." Psychedelics provide a unique opportunity for us to confront our pain, and to contact our inner-healing intelligence, which is an innate drive that all human beings have towards wholeness and healing. Through our traumas, struggles and adversities, human beings display great inner sources of strength and resiliency. In the psychedelic-therapy process, you can learn how to reconnect with these inner sources, and to align with your core values. Sometimes traditional methods just don't cut it, or we reach a plateau and find ourselves feeling stuck, and unable to move forward. The psychedelic-therapy process is a powerful tool to help us move past such obstacles and barriers. Currently, we are providing Ketamine-assisted psychotherapy, which is the only legal psychedelic for clinic use in the state of Minnesota. Our staff are highly trained in the psychedelic-assisted therapy model, and your care is under the direct supervision of a licensed physician. Check out our website or give us a call if you're interested in learning more about the process.
