CFK Counseling offers a wide variety of outpatient behavioral health services for clients of all ages. We offer Private Pay and most insurances are accepted. Our counselors strive to ensure all of our clients are offered the most effective and individualized treatment for their specific situation and needs. Our staff is educated in providing each individual with a specific plan of care to maximize their strengths and provide tools for success.

We are a group of mental health professionals - psychologists, mental health counselors, and psychiatric nurse practitioners - who will help you deal with circumstances that hinder the quality of your life and relationships with family, friends, co-workers, and acquaintances. We are a general practice, but specialize in assessment and treating anxiety, depression, PTSD, autism spectrum, attention deficit, and other developmental disorders of childhood. Our staff, directed by Dr. Floyd Robison, Ph.D and Beth Robison, MS, LMHC is a group of talented clinicians providing a variety of counseling styles. Our psychiatric nurse practitioner, Dr. Shemecia Forthner, has extensive experience in mental health inpatient, outpatient, and Veterans Administration facilities. We have three convenient locations, in Greenwood (633 Library Park Drive, Suite K), Martinsville, and Bloomington, Indiana. Teletherapy and telemedicine services for Indiana residents also are available. We offer therapy services in Spanish at our Bloomington and Martinsville offices, and interpreter services in Spanish at all three offices (21 day advance notice required for interpretive services).

Hendricks Behavioral Hospital offers inpatient psychiatric crisis stabilization for adults and adolescents (ages 13 to 17) and medical detoxification services for adults. Our mental and behavioral health program addresses issues such as: suicidal ideations, self-harm, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, co-occurring disorders and trauma accompanied by behavioral and mental health issues. We currently offer detox services for alcohol, opiates and benzodiazepines. We also offer both psychiatric and dual diagnosis Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) for both adults and adolescents.

The residential treatment center is for troubled teen girls ages 14-18. It is ideally suited for teenagers struggling with a variety of problems, including issues related to adoption or attachment; abuse recovery; depression; PTSD; identity or body image issues; conflicts with peers, parents or authority; social isolation or rejection; mild self-harm and school troubles. The program is not a match for teenagers with severe self-harm or suicidal behaviors, history of frequent violent aggression, pervasive developmental disorders or psychotic disorders. Similar to therapeutic boarding schools in other states, Compass Rose Academy’s residential treatment center is not an intensive substance abuse program but offers support and education to young people struggling with alcohol and/or drug abuse.

At Evolve Indy we try to make the recovery process as comfortable for our clients as possible by utilizing luxurious, comfortable housing, while providing a unique clinical program specializing in Substance Use Disorder and Dual Diagnosis treatment. This stage in the continuum of care is focused primarily on helping clients develop independently in the community, maintain and sustain mental health, and achieve long term continuous sobriety after treatment.
