We are a general practice, but specialize in assessment and treating anxiety, depression, PTSD, autism spectrum, attention deficit, and other developmental disorders of childhood. Our staff, directed by Dr. Floyd Robison, Ph.D and Beth Robison, MS, LMHC is a group of talented clinicians providing a variety of counseling styles. Our psychiatric nurse practitioner, Dr. Shemecia Forthner, has extensive experience in mental health inpatient, outpatient, and Veterans Administration facilities. We have three convenient locations, in Greenwood (633 Library Park Drive, Suite K), Martinsville, and Bloomington, Indiana. Teletherapy and telemedicine services for Indiana residents also are available. We offer therapy services in Spanish at our Bloomington and Martinsville offices, and interpreter services in Spanish at all three offices (21 day advance notice required for interpretive services).

Your brain may be focused on recovery and doing everything to get sober. However, your body may not be ready because it is still under the influence of drugs or alcohol and you are physiologically addicted. This means that your body cannot function properly without getting the alcohol or substances that you have been using for some period of time. Detox is the process of safely bringing the body up to speed so that recovery can be accomplished with minimal risk to your health.

Hendricks Behavioral Hospital offers inpatient psychiatric crisis stabilization for adults and adolescents (ages 13 to 17) and medical detoxification services for adults. Our mental and behavioral health program addresses issues such as: suicidal ideations, self-harm, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, co-occurring disorders and trauma accompanied by behavioral and mental health issues. We currently offer detox services for alcohol, opiates and benzodiazepines. We also offer both psychiatric and dual diagnosis Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) for both adults and adolescents.
