Our Catalyst Day Program in Wheaton is designed for adults 18 years and older. It is designed to be less restrictive than a hospital or residential program while providing a higher level of care than is available through outpatient counseling. This intensive treatment program may be the perfect answer for those who are not making satisfactory progress through outpatient counseling, need to move through an issue more quickly due to a life crisis, or as a step-down from hospital/residential care. The treatment plan is customized to meet the individual's unique needs, integrating psychological, physical and spiritual components. Many clients find comfort in the fact that we are Christian based so they have confidence the care they receive will not conflict with their beliefs. Whether or not clients are Christian , they receive equal respect and quality care in a safe environment. Our treatment team includes a psychiatrist, psychologists, a nurse, and master level counselors who work together to provide educational, life skills and problem-solving groups; individual counseling sessions; medication management; and other treatment interventions as needed. Visit our website at meierclinics.org to read comments from former clients who found the healing and hope they needed.

Rehab in Chicago

Clients who are looking for Drug Rehab in Chicago or Alcohol Rehab in Chicago can find help at a treatment center. The first step towards recovery usually requires clients to detox in Chicago under medical supervision, and follow-up with a period of intensive therapy at the center.

INPATIENT or OUTPATIENT?

Residential inpatient treatment in Chicago consists of 24-hour care at a live-in facility. Full treatment services, including medical and behavioral therapy, are provided all at one location.

Outpatient treatment programs in Chicago provide flexibility to those who are unable to take time away from their regular lives, work or school. Programs typically meet at the clinic a couple of times every week for a few hours at a time.

Certain programs provide a combination of the in/out approach: Inpatient for medical stabilization, partial hospitalization for moderate cases, intensive outpatient programs, and outpatient clinics for follow-up. For instance, opiate abusers may find it helpful to begin their abstinence with a brief but intensive outpatient opiate drug detox in Chicago.
