Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Chicago Psych Therapy Group has now moved all therapeutic services to online, video, and phone. We still continue to offer our holistic, client focused treatment for our clients; however, it is brought to each client in the privacy of their own home. We understand that many individuals may be experiencing fear, anxiety, or concern at this time due to the pandemic, and we would like to help ease this discomfort. Others may be having difficulties adjusting to being confined at home for such a long period of time, which is understandable. We would like to help make your life more comfortable at this time. Each therapist at Chicago Psych Therapy Group cares about the well-being of our clients. We do not believe in cookie-cutter therapy and do not push our clients to follow our goals. We believe in therapy that is led by the client and their goals so that they can each reach what they wish to achieve in their lives. After all, therapy should be about the client, not the therapist. We work with our clients to develop a treatment plan that fits their needs.

ADHD Treatment Centers
Some children and adults with ADHD find it difficult to concentrate on tasks at school or work and may daydream frequently. Children with ADHD may become disruptive, defiant, or have trouble getting along with parents, peers, or teachers. Children who struggle with hyperactivity and impulsivity, in particular, often have behavioral challenges that can be difficult for adults to manage. Adults, on the other hand, may be more likely to report feeling restless or fidgety; if they struggle with impulsivity, they may make rash decisions that adversely affect their life. For both children and adults, executive functioning (planning, emotional regulation, and decision-making) is often affected as well. Many children and adults display either hyperactive or inattentive symptoms of ADHD, but it’s also possible for both sets of symptoms to exist together, in what is typically called combined type ADHD.

If you're looking for a Chicago ADHD treatment center, these professionals provide ADHD therapy and counseling in Chicago.

Rehab in Chicago

Clients who are looking for Drug Rehab in Chicago or Alcohol Rehab in Chicago can find help at a treatment center. The first step towards recovery usually requires clients to detox in Chicago under medical supervision, and follow-up with a period of intensive therapy at the center.

INPATIENT or OUTPATIENT?

Residential inpatient treatment in Chicago consists of 24-hour care at a live-in facility. Full treatment services, including medical and behavioral therapy, are provided all at one location.

Outpatient treatment programs in Chicago provide flexibility to those who are unable to take time away from their regular lives, work or school. Programs typically meet at the clinic a couple of times every week for a few hours at a time.

Certain programs provide a combination of the in/out approach: Inpatient for medical stabilization, partial hospitalization for moderate cases, intensive outpatient programs, and outpatient clinics for follow-up. For instance, opiate abusers may find it helpful to begin their abstinence with a brief but intensive outpatient opiate drug detox in Chicago.
