With our help and support, you’ll be allowed to let go of past negative experiences and begin a new life free of drugs and alcohol. During your time at our residential treatment program in Huntington Beach CA, you will work on your recovery, develop healthy coping methods and discover the underlying reasons for your substance use. This way, you can build a life of meaning and purpose, which is the best way to protect your sobriety. During your stay, you will reside in a comfortable, upscale beach house with the latest amenities, including a modern kitchen, flat-screen television, fireplace, stone patio, and shared and private bedrooms. We want our clients to have all the things that make them comfortable so they can focus their energy on healing. As a private treatment center, we accept most PPO insurance plans. Safe, Effective Medical Detox
When you quit or cut down on the amount of drugs or alcohol you’re using, your brain and body must go through a period of adjustment. This process is called withdrawal, and it can cause both physical and psychological symptoms. How long this process lasts, and how severe it is, depends on many factors, such as your age, physical health, how long you’ve been using, the substances you are using, and the method of withdrawal. When you’ve taken a drug for a long time, your body comes to rely on it to feel normal. Your body is used to functioning with the drug in its system, so when you stop taking it, it is shocked. Common withdrawal symptoms include sweating, chills, shaking, irritability, and insomnia. As your brain becomes dependent on drugs or alcohol, it starts to believe it needs these substances to function. You might think you need the substances for specific situations, such as attending a party or unwinding after work. Or, you might think you need them all the time. Common psychological symptoms include irritability, anxiety, depression, hallucinations, and delirium. Detox refers to eliminating drugs, alcohol, and toxins from the body.
Residential Inpatient Facility for SUD
Huntington Beach Recovery Center provides a safe place where clients can work through underlying issues, such as complex trauma and generational patterns. We focus on healing from the inside out, giving attention to your mental, physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs. Our facility offers a similar level of care as hospitalization but within a comfortable residential property. We are located just 15 minutes from the beach where you will find 8.5 miles of sun, surf, and sea. Our facility is also located near tons of shopping, restaurants, and entertainment. Sometimes, we do take trips out to these locations as a group. By recovering in a residential community, we’re able to eliminate some of the negatives of recovering in a hospital, such as isolation, traumatization, and poor outcomes.
