The Triangle Program -- LGBTQ PHP and IOP
The Triangle Program at Arbour-HRI Hospital offers both Partial Hospitalization (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP). Services include short-term intensive group therapy geared towards the unique mental health needs of the adult LGBTQIAA+ population. Common issues addressed include, but are not limited to, mood instability, stress, anxiety, depression, disorganized thinking, trauma, co-occurring addictions, and gender dysphoria. Participants attend group therapy sessions, meet with a clinician for individual counseling and case management needs, and a psychiatric prescriber for medication management. For all of the PHPs at Arbour-HRI Hospital, breakfast and lunch are provided as a part of the program. As well, participants can be supported in securing transportation within a ten-mile radius to and from the program. Requests for transportation services must be made after the initial intake.
Women's PHP and IOP
The Women's Program at Arbour-HRI Hospital offers both Partial Hospitalization (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP). Services provide short-term trauma-informed care through a group therapy program which addresses the needs of adult women with trauma histories. Common issues include, but are not limited to, mood instability, stress, anxiety, sadness, depression, disorganized thinking, trauma, co-occurring addictions, and low self-esteem. The group therapy curriculum includes daily Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) groups. Participants attend group therapy sessions, meet with a clinician for individualized counseling and case management needs, and a psychiatric prescriber for medication management. For all of the PHPs at Arbour-HRI Hospital, breakfast and lunch are provided as a part of the program. As well, participants can be supported in securing transportation within a ten-mile radius to and from the program. Requests for transportation services must be made after the initial intake.
General Adult PHP and IOP
The General Adult Psychiatric PHP and IOP at Arbour-HRI Hospital are short-term intensive group therapy programs geared towards the mental health needs of a co-ed population. Common issues addressed include but are not limited to, mood instability, stress, anxiety, sadness, anger management, depression, disorganized thinking, trauma and co-occurring addictions. The program includes a dedicated dual diagnosis track which utilizes a harm-reduction model and incorporates a specialized group curriculum to reinforce skills for addiction recovery and relapse prevention. Participants attend group therapy sessions each day, meet with a clinician for individualized counseling and case management needs, and visit with a psychiatric prescriber for medication management. Weekly toxicology screens are performed as part of the dual diagnosis track. An Evening IOP is available to accommodate individuals who cannot attend day programs as a result of employment, school, or child care conflicts. The program addresses mental health and recovery issues and runs three nights a week including Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Participants attend three group therapy sessions per evening and meet with an clinician for individualized counseling and case management needs.
