About
Clinical Holistic Therapeutic Healing Community
Hopewell is a residential, therapeutic farm community serving adults experiencing serious mental illness. Our focus is on serving the "whole person" -body-mind-spirit- in helping each individual experience sustained recovery and healing from their mental illness. Located in northeastern Ohio we serve individuals locally, regionally, and from across the United States. We offer a therapeutic community on a working farm focused upon a values based, holistic treatment model. Our services include group counseling, psycho-educational services, a highly structured daily program, work crew participation, peer support, medication management, psychiatric and nursing services, nutrition support, clinical counseling, art and equine therapy, ecotherapy, sandplay, physical fitness, social work services, and aftercare development. Hopewell is licensed by the Ohio Department of Mental Health and Recovery Services and is CARF Certified. Please contact our admissions team at (440) 426-2009 for any further questions.
Inclusive and non-judgemental
Mental illness is challenging, not only for the individual but for the entire family. Hopewell's staff engages in person centered treatment planning as independent needs are evaluated on an individual basis. When appropriate, family collaboration is highly encouraged. Hopewell has seen much success in stabilizing individuals suffering from chronic, debilitating mental illness and has a strong record of long term stabilization. A transitional program within the organization allows those capable to learn skills for independent living through teaching, practicing, and application. From one-on-one interaction at the farm to supported apartments in Cleveland allowing for independent functioning, the individual will have continuous support. There is something for everyone at Hopewell. This is a second chance at living through a heavily researched and proven effective method of treatment. Our admissions team is always ready to answer any questions you may have and are more than willing to set up a date and time for a tour. Please feel free to contact us! The greatest joy at Hopewell is seeing our clients succeed and improving quality of life for the entire family!
