Helping Youth, Families, and Survivors Heal
Higher Ground Counseling works with children, teens, young adults, and families affected by sexual abuse, trauma, and complex sexual behaviors. We support both survivors and youth who have caused harm, helping families move toward accountability, healing, and safety. Many clients are also navigating systems such as juvenile justice, child welfare, or school supports. In addition to this specialized work, our clinicians help with mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, family conflict, behavioral challenges and life transitions. Our goal is to provide a supportive space where our clients can heal, grow, and move forward.
Our Services and Approach
Our programs provide specialized treatment for youth with problematic or illegal sexual behaviors and support for survivors and families impacted by abuse. We also work with general mental health concerns including anxiety, depression, and trauma.
