At Waukesha Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC), we provide high-quality outpatient care for adults age 18 and older who are suffering from opioid addictions. Our center offers medication-assisted treatment, or MAT, which uses prescription medication and counseling to support people as they work to end opioid use, avoid relapse, and sustain long-term recovery. MAT aims to treat the whole person. It provides medication that can relieve the overwhelming cravings and withdrawal symptoms that may occur after you stop using opioids. And it offers counseling that can help with the emotional and behavioral challenges of maintaining your recovery. During individual and group counseling sessions at Waukesha CTC, patients can share their experiences and express their feelings while receiving supportive feedback from skilled professionals. In counseling, patients can also identify support systems and strategies that may help promote success in recovery.
