Our Focus
Havenwood Academy, a long-term residential treatment center in Southern Utah, specializes in treating young women who are struggling with complex trauma and attachment related issues. We work with (assigned female at birth) children from ages 13 to 18 and often work with adoptive families. Our Approach
Our holistic approach to treatment includes specialized individual therapies (talk therapy, EMDR, Neurofeedback, Brainspotting), experiential group therapy, family therapy, accreditation education, animal-assisted therapy, and life-skills programming. We work to pair our cutting-edge trauma treatment with creative funding sources to help young women who might not otherwise receive help. Unlike most treatment centers, we accept Medicaid Insurance, Adoption Assistance funding, regular medical insurance policies and private pay funding. Havenwood is licensed by the Utah Department of Human Services, Division of Licensing, and accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of HealthCare Organizations.
