Adolescent Inpatient Treatment
At Glenwood Behavioral Health Hospital, youths who are suffering from acute symptoms of mental health disorders can receive round-the-clock care in our premier adolescent inpatient program. We provide highly effective treatment for adolescents ages 13-17 who are struggling with a variety of behavioral health concerns. Youths in the inpatient program receive intensive services in a safe and supervised setting. Our goal is to help them stabilize and regain a sense of well-being so that they can make progress toward healing. Generally, adolescents remain in the program for four to seven days, depending on the severity of their symptoms. During this time, our multidisciplinary team provides 24/7 monitoring and emotional support while guiding each patient through transformative programming. Our staff has extensive experience working with young people and a shared goal of providing age-appropriate treatment that can help each patient get on the path to better health. Adolescents in this program receive care according to their needs. Treatment plans may include medical care, medication management services, individual therapy, group therapy, and family therapy. Each adolescent who engages in programming at our treatment center participates in an initial assessment that helps our team determine certain elements of their care.
