Greenleaf Center is a 103-bed hospital dedicated to the treatment of behavioral health and chemical dependency issues affecting adolescents and adults. At Greenleaf Center we provide a safe, structured environment through the delivery of group, family, and individual counseling as well as medication management services. Levels of Care
It is our goal to provide exceptional treatment and therapeutic programming in a safe environment, sending patients from our door onto the path toward recovery. Upon admission, each patient meets with a psychiatrist and other mental health professionals to develop a treatment plan based on specific needs. We offer adolescent inpatient treatment (age 12-17), adult inpatient treatment (ages 18 and older), detoxification, partial hospitalization program for adults, intensive hospitalization program, recovery residence, and weekly aftercare programs. Programs are designed to provide medical detoxification from alcohol and/or drugs and to treat acute psychiatric symptoms such as suicidal or homicidal thoughts. We also provide a partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient treatment program for adolescents and adults in the outpatient clinic on the same campus. These programs are designed to assist individuals in learning healthy coping skills, processing thoughts and feelings, and gaining emotional stability utilizing group-oriented therapies. Individuals participating in group programming also receive individual and family therapy, as well as medication management if needed. Admission Process
At Greenleaf Center we do all that we can to make the referral and admissions process efficient and timely. When you call, Greenleaf will work around your schedule to arrange a time for your confidential assessment at no charge to you. We accept both phone calls and walk-in clients for an assessment 24 hours a day, seven days per week. Greenleaf does not require potential clients to go to the emergency room for medical clearance before admissions, unless they are in medical distress (such as an overdose or suffering from a life-threatening injury). Following our initial assessment, our in-house psychiatrists are typically able to confirm an evaluation for admission within thirty minutes. Admission assessments can be initiated by a client, physician, hospital, mental health providers, or family members. Need for admission is determined by one or more criteria: level of depression, suicidal or homicidal ideations with a stated plan, the need to detox from alcohol dependency or certain drugs, psychotic behaviors including auditory or visual hallucinations, PTSD symptoms, or other acute psychiatric episodes.
