We are a specialty clinic focusing on OCD, Trauma and DBT. We are a passionate team of licensed professionals and closely trained and supervised trainees. We provide evidenced-based individual and group therapy to the Rochester New York area. How we treat
We provide Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based treatments to treat anxiety disorders: Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (Exposure and Response Prevention; ERP), Trauma (Prolonged Exposure; PE and Cognitive Processing Therapy; CPT), and Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD; Dialectic Behavioral Therapy; DBT). Our Mission
We have three main values as a clinic. First, we listen to the needs of the Rochester community and add services as needed. Second, we aim to provide culturally responsive therapy to people across all socio-cultural identities (e.g. race, gender identity, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status). Finally, we are evidence-based. We collect weekly data to ensure that our patients are improving. We are consistently engaging in the literature to incorporate new techniques to improve our care. We also engage in academic research on the interaction of trauma and OCD, aiming to improve treatment and understanding. Take the first step to help. OCD Exposure/ERP Group
The most powerful and effective treatment for OCD is exposure therapy (ERP). That being said, exposure is hard to do, especially alone. For that reason, we have the OCD Exposure Group where you can learn skills and do exposures to treat your OCD, in a supportive and fun setting.
