Mental Health and Substance Abuse Tracts The PHP and IOP programs were developed to complement the existing Residential/Sub-acute program. Although a full continuum of care is offered for Mental Health, Substance Abuse, or Dual Diagnosis needs, a client may enter the program at any level of care. Participants will be placed either in a Mental Health track or a Substance Abuse track based on their primary diagnosis. PHP and IOP provide a higher level of structure and support than traditional outpatient care, so participants may successfully meet clinical needs at a treatment level that minimizes the disruption of daily routines and responsibilities. Both programs include group, individual/family therapy, medical and psychiatric care, and engages involvement of the patient's support system that might include family members or a significant other. The programs are staffed by licensed clinicians, certified addiction professionals, registered nurses, and Board Certified Psychiatrist/Addictionologist. Partial Hospitalization provides 6 hours of programming/5 days a week and will typically run for 4 - 5 weeks. Intensive outpatient treatment provides 3 hours of programming/3 times a week and will typically run for 8 - 10 weeks. Evidenced Based Techniques and Services
