Evolve Residential Treatment Centers
At Evolve Residential Treatment Centers, we provide the highest caliber of evidence-based treatment for teens ages 12-17 struggling with depression, anxiety, substance abuse, dual diagnosis, ADHD, self-harming or high-risk behaviors, suicidality, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, and other emotional/behavioral issues. Our primary therapeutic modalities include Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Teens participate in individual and family therapy at least 5 times a week; weekly psychiatry sessions; daily groups (on DBT Skills Training, Anger Management, Seeking Safety, and Relapse Prevention); and daily academics. For families from out-of-state, we conduct family therapy remotely. At Evolve, our goal is compassionate, high-quality treatment that will last long after your teen leaves our program. We offer daily experiential activities proven to support recovery (e.g. equine therapy, surf, art, drama, music, yoga, etc.) and 12-Step/SMART Recovery programs for those struggling with dual diagnoses. Out-of-State Treatment in California
Programs like ours can be hard to find in other states. Evolve’s fully licensed, CARF- and Joint Commission-accredited programs in California set the standard for excellence in clinical care for adolescents. Our residential treatment centers maintain the most rigorous safety protocols in the nation. Evolve's staff:patient ratio is one of the highest ratios in adolescent treatment centers. Additionally, our licensed therapists carry a caseload of no more than 3 patients at any given time. This enables your child to receive the highly individualized attention they need for optimal recovery. In addition to our full-time therapists, our treatment team includes board-certified child and adolescent psychiatrists, on-site nurses, counselors and 24-hour support staff. Our specialized, trained staff are available to provide in-the-moment, face-to-face skills coaching and crisis support for your teen 24/7. We maintain strict line-of-sight and line-of-hearing policies, utilize state-of-the-art monitoring technology, and offer 1:1 supervision as needed.
Insurance and Admissions
Only serving up to six teens at any given time, Evolve’s residential programs are suitable for teens stepping down from inpatient hospitalization, or as a step-up option for teens requiring a higher level of care than partial hospitalization or intensive outpatient programs. Prior to admission, our licensed Admissions Clinician conducts a detailed phone assessment to ensure our treatment centers are clinically appropriate for your teen. Throughout the duration of treatment, our dedicated discharge coordinator works closely with your child’s therapists and local providers on a detailed aftercare plan to ensure a smooth transition back home. Our residential home in California is comfortable and secluded; featuring ample greenspace, beautiful views, a swimming pool, fully-equipped gym, and onsite chef.
