In addition to individual therapy, we use play therapy, family therapy, and parenting support modalities when it would be helpful. We also offer very popular social skills groups for ages 6 through high school and periodically offer other group therapies. Our Dungeon and Dragons social skills groups are particularly popular. Dungeons and Dragons Social Skills
Equip's D&D social skills groups are a fun and engaging way for teens to learn social skills while exploring an imaginary world. The groups meet weekly and play through scenarios that are set up to teach teamwork, patience, active listening, assertiveness, and cooperation. These are very popular within our practice and the teens have a blast each week.
