ITP Component: Life and Social Skills groups
As part of our Intensive Treatment Program, Club EQ is a social club opportunity for youth with HFASD. Club EQ teaches life, social and relationship skills in an action oriented group that gets youth up, moving and doing. Club EQ is for youth ages 11-13 & EQ Life of youth 14-17 to be with peers they can relate to and who have similar interests. Club EQ includes specific interests and activity areas such as bowling, urban adventure, science, photo and media projects and much more.

Substance Abuse / Relapse Prevention
As part of our Intensive Treament Program, for teens with substance abuse and relapse prevention challenges, the treatment group incorporates contemporary relapse prevention methodologies in combination with a variety of mountain experiences to teach the necessary skills of how to lead a safe substance free lifestyle. This group teaches important mental, emotional and physical skills necessary to manage anxiety, anger, fear and isolation related to relapse. Youth will accurately assess risk, experience the importance of healthy routines, increase communication, accountability, and personal responsibility. Teens will face a variety of individual and group challenges to include snowshoeing, a winter peak ascent, ice climbing and skiing.

Mood Management DBT Informed Skills Group
As part of our Intensive Treatment Program, this group is for teen girls ages 15-19 years old who have mood swings, difficulty regulating emotions, have low impulse control, have a difficult time interacting with others, anger management problems , and have suicidal or self-harming behaviors. Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is a research-based, empirically validated therapy that has been validated with mental health issues, such as PTSD, depression, anxiety, addictions, eating disorders, mood disorders, impulse control disorders, personality disorders, and for those with other self-injurious behaviors. Group members will will learn and develop skills for mindfulness, emotional regulation, interpersonal effectiveness, and distress tolerance.
