We believe that the solution to the disease of addiction is a program that involves the highest quality clinical services, a strong 12-Step foundation and a holistic philosophy that treat the Mind, Body, and Spirit of the addict. At Enlightened Solutions, we focus on the individual, because we know that the recovery process is unique to each person. Our goal is to provide relief from the cycle of substance abuse by treating the whole person. Our team uses an innovative and customizable approach designed to promote independence, stability, and spiritual rejuvenation by engaging the client in the recovering community. We have found that recovering addicts need to establish healthy relationships with their peers and learn how to get high on life without drugs! Addiction is a disease that requires comprehensive treatment that addresses all of its facets. It is not only an ailment of the body, but also an obsession of the mind and a malady of spirit. Enlightened Solutions was founded by Jennifer Hansen, Robert Snyder, and Terri Burns, who have a strong passion for helping those struggling with sub-stance use disorders. Having a com-bined 45+ years of experience in their personal recovery, they have assisted in the restoration of countless lives helping them break free from the chains of addiction. Jennifer Hansen went from living on the street with a $300-a-day heroin habit to becoming a role model and advocate for those struggling with substance abuse issues. Through the Hansen Foundation est. in 1999, a non-profit organization, she founded the Hansen Houses and Serenity Houses creating a pathway for recovering addicts to integrate back into the community. Jennifer is also a certified yoga instructor and leads a holistic way of life. Her own experiences taught her that recovery does not end after short-term rehabilitation, and that incorporating mindful based practices are necessary in order to ensure long-term stability and growth.
