Embark Behavioral Health is a leading network of exceptional treatment and therapy programs across the United States. We specialize in preteens, teens, and young adults, struggling with anxiety, depression, and other mental health and substance abuse issues. Our programs include in-home treatment, virtual coaching and counseling, outpatient clinics, that offer intensive outpatient programs (IOPs), and therapeutic day treatment programs, also known as a partial hospitalization program (PHPs), wilderness therapy, short-term residential treatment programs, long-term residential treatment, therapeutic boarding schools, and young adult transitional living options.

Mental Health and Substance Abuse Treatment

For preteen, teen, and young adults struggling with school refusal, substance abuse, suicidal ideation, and other behavioral health issues, the earlier they’re diagnosed, the more effective treatment can be. This is especially important if substance abuse or substance addiction co-occur alongside a mental health issues. If your child is struggling with substance abuse issues alongside a mental illness, Embark offers addiction education and recovery programs that can help. Our overall treatment options include self-management and recovery training (SMART), substance abuse counseling, substance abuse recovery groups , substance abuse education, dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), experiential therapy, trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT), and transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS). These treatment options will help your preteen, teen, or young adult understand how to navigate their way through difficult drug and alcohol issues while overcoming mental health challenges.
