Program
Driftwood Recovery is a 30-90 day adult treatment program for substance abuse, chronic pain and co-occurring disorders. Driftwood offers multi-disciplinary programming, provides a comprehensive treatment curriculum focusing on healing of the mind, body and spirit with 18 beds for adults, age 18 and up. Evidence-based therapeutic approaches effective for both individual and group counseling settings include Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and EMDR. Experiential outdoor activities enhance therapeutic protocols with an extensive ropes course, canoeing, cross-terrain biking, and hiking. Fitness includes an onsite fitness gym, TRX Suspension Training, certified personal trainer, yoga, and pilates. Nutritional counseling, farm-to-table in-house chef, infrared sauna, massage therapy, and acupuncture faciliate the recovery process for health and wellness. The 30-90+ day extended-care program includes PHP, intensive outpatient program and sober living. Driftwood's extended-care is open to qualifying individuals seeking a recovery home.

Stunning architecture on 85 oak-filled acres is the perfect resort-style setting for residential recovery in Central Texas. The Driftwood facility is a contemporary rural campus with multiple buildings, pool, spa, high & low ropes course, meditation garden and 10 miles of hiking trails. Convenient to Austin Bergstrom Airport, Driftwood Recovery is located 25 miles south of Austin TX, in the rural community of Driftwood. A 98 year old restored historic landmark is home to Driftwood's Riverside Extended Care Program. The stately residence is located walking distance to Lady Bird Lake and minutes from downtown Austin.
