At Harbor Oaks Hospital, we provide an efficient admissions process, with intake staff available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to help people get the care they need quickly. Potential patients can contact our intake department by phone or through our website. Before admission to our depression treatment program, our team conducts an assessment for each potential patient that helps us determine if our facility is right for them. We can also verify benefits with their health insurance provider at this time. Following the individual’s evaluation, one of our doctors recommends the most appropriate level of care for them. Our team is dedicated to helping each person who turns to us for support take the first brave step toward a brighter, happier future. If we decide that another treatment center may be a better fit, we can make a referral to a vetted and trusted depression treatment provider in the area. Our office has several mental health therapists who work along side our physician guided medical team to provide psychological services and medical care together. This allows us to provide treatment like no other facility in the area, offering both psychotherapy and medication management if necessary, but not required if you have a primary care that you like. We also offer psychological and neuropsychological evaluations through our doctorate level neuropsychologists who can perform testing to further understand diagnosis and brain function. We use evidence-based therapeutic interventions during each session to foster the learning of coping skills.

StoneCrest Center provides premier inpatient programming for adults ages 18-54 and senior adults age 55 and older who are struggling with mental health disorders, developmental concerns, and co-occurring substance use disorders. In our inpatient programming, we offer intensive support for people who have acute symptoms of a number of behavioral health concerns, such as anxiety, bipolar disorder, dementia, psychosis, self-harm, and suicidal ideation. Those who participate in our inpatient programming can benefit from the combined experience of our expert team, which includes psychiatrists, social workers, therapists, registered nurses, activity coordinators, and dietitians. This team works with each patient to design an individualized treatment plan that is based on the patient’s background and therapeutic goals. Treatment plans at StoneCrest Center may include individual and family therapy sessions as needed as well as daily group therapy sessions. We also provide recreational therapies, such as pet, art, and music therapies. The typical length of stay in our adult inpatient program is around 11-14 days.

Home of New Vision provides outpatient therapeutic approaches to individuals addressing mental health and substance use disorders in a warm, welcoming environment that puts the needs of the client first. Therapists are trained in the treatment of mental health and substance use disorders and utilize a client centered approach which drives the goals of the clients seen. Individuals work with their therapist to create a client-centered treatment plan and achieve the goals identified by the client. Along with outpatient clinical services, Home of New Vision offers wrap-around services which includes Recovery Peer Coaches and Case Managers which help clients remove barriers and move towards empowerment. Home of New Vision has licensed psychiatrists on staff to address medication needs for clients that are currently in services.

At StoneCrest Center, we offer an adolescent inpatient program for youths ages 12-17 who have mental health concerns and co-occurring addictions. Because young people are going through developmental changes, we believe that the most effective behavioral healthcare is age-specific. We strive to provide developmentally appropriate treatments and services that meet each young person where they are in their healing journey. During their time in our inpatient program, adolescent patients can participate in therapy sessions led by social workers and activity therapists. In group therapy sessions, youths get the chance to meet their peers and share support and encouragement. In these sessions, they can also receive education on topics such as trauma, coping skills, self-esteem, and healthy boundaries. Additionally, adolescent patients whose treatment plans include medication can receive daily medication management services from psychiatrists and nurses.

At StoneCrest Center, we understand that families are impacted when a loved one is struggling. We empathize with and support those who have a family member who is suffering from a mental health disorder, co-occurring addiction, or developmental concern. We also believe that patients can benefit from their families’ participation in the treatment process. Throughout programming, we provide family therapy sessions in virtual and in-person formats to help family members support their loved ones. In family therapy sessions, social workers and other behavioral health staff teach families better communication skills to repair and strengthen their relationships. We encourage families to express their feelings and thoughts. We focus on helping families understand what their loved ones may be experiencing, and we prepare them to provide the most effective support they can after their loved one completes treatment and returns home.
