With 10 beautiful treatment centers from the cliffs of Malibu to the scenic hills of San Rafael, Paradigm provides teens, young adults and their families with Joint Commission-accredited mental health treatment in safe, luxurious, residential settings. We serve individuals between the ages of 12 – 26 who are experiencing moderate to severe mental health issues. Our in-depth processes for assessment, treatment and aftercare are painstakingly developed so as to best meet the unprecedented mental health concerns confronting today’s youth. Utilizing a curated blend of traditional, evidence-based and progressive therapeutic practices, Paradigm works closely with clients and their families to treat issues that include but are not limited to anxiety, depression, grief and loss, mood disorders and trauma. We treat the socio-emotional underpinnings of behaviors rather than simply focusing on behaviors themselves. As such, at Paradigm we do not use point systems, phase systems or other outdated behavior modification or punitive techniques. Rather, our approach focuses on the whole individual, and the unique needs of each and every client and family we serve.

Situated in world famous and highly coveted tranquil neighborhood of Bel Air, The Bel Air Home is a highly advanced residential mental health treatment program with expertise in treating complex psychiatric issues. We are physician operated program that is also licensed to provide highly advanced psychiatric treatment options such as ketamine and transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS). Our philosophy is to minimize medications and provide one on one intensive treatment in an intimate small group environment. We service all adult ages and also offer specialty treatment tracts that address the unique needs of seniors, chronic pain sufferers. Treatment is provided to only 6 clients at a time to provide highly individualized attention. Unlike most programs that advertise for mental health but are really substance abuse treatment programs, we are proud to be one of the very few double certified true mental health programs in existence. We are licensed and certified for advanced mental health and crisis stabilization (which means our clinical program, staffing and services must be the most intensive and highest caliber) by both the California Department of Healthcare Services and DSS.

Our campuses are beautiful, home-like settings in Sonoma County, Clovis and Riverside, California, where clients enjoy camaraderie, benefit from intensive integrated therapy, and enjoy recreation and experiential therapy activities. Boys and girls are treated and housed separately to eliminate drama and distraction. This program provides comprehensive, evidence-based care for teens experiencing a range of behavioral healthcare issues, including substance use disorders, anxiety, OCD, depression, mood disorders, and suicidality. Programming is trauma-informed to create a safe and supportive atmosphere where teens can feel open and comfortable engaging in treatment and focusing on their care without distractions. Founded in 2015, Beachside Teen on the cliffs of Malibu, offers a calming, peaceful environment with an experienced clinical team that is focused on your teen's wellbeing. You can rest assured from the moment we arrange flights with you and pick up your teen at the airport to start their unique healing journey, your loved one is safe, welcomed and supported. Our exclusive residence accommodates a maximum of six teens at a time, allowing us to offer highly personalized treatment programs that cater to your teen’s specific needs. Providing personalized treatment plans and comprehensive support, we ensure that every teen receives the necessary assistance to navigate their path toward healing and recovery from mental health challenges like: Depression, Anxiety, Substance Abuse, OCD, Self-Harm, PTSD and Trauma, Eating Disorders, Mood Disorders, and Addiction. We also ensure through our Rise to Success program that your teen is growing and empowered achieving critical clinical and life skill milestones and stays on track with academics.

Insurance covers up to 100 percent of the treatment and therapeutic modalities that Newport Institute offers. We accept all major insurance providers and work collaboratively with payers to optimize coverage for families. Many young adults who receive treatment from Newport Institute using insurance coverage do so through a Single Case Agreement, a special contract through which out-of-network providers can work with a family’s insurance company on an In-Network basis. Newport Institute maintains a full-time, in-house team dedicated to supporting families through the mental health insurance coverage and financing process. In order to secure sufficient insurance coverage, we will most likely need to conduct a series of clinical reviews and any requested doctor-to-doctor calls with the insurance company. While other facilities may charge for this service, we feel it is our responsibility to assist families with what can be a complex process. Our goal is to ensure that families receive the maximum coverage, so they can access the highest-quality treatment.

Red Hawk Behavioral Health is a residential treatment center for adolescent girls, ages 12-17, who are experiencing future-impacting relational or emotional difficulties brought on by trauma. Limiting our care to 24 girls allows more attention to be given to each girl by our therapists and trained staff. An individualized therapeutic plan and focused care helps our residents move to a better place mentally and emotionally in a much shorter period of time, alleviating the difficulties they are currently experiencing in their lives. Our program helps each young woman find positive new ways to manage life’s obstacles and traumas that have strained their well-being and relationships in the past.

Our teachers address academic issues so that students are able to resume studies after treatment while experiential approaches such as mindfulness, yoga, and meditation empower clients to transform their lives in authentic ways. At Evolve Treatment Centers, we provide the highest caliber of evidence-based residential treatment for adolescents 12-17 struggling with depression, anxiety, substance abuse, self-harming or high-risk behaviors, suicidality, aggression, defiance, trauma, and other emotional/behavioral issues. Our primary modes of treatment are Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. At Evolve Walnut Creek, we believe treatment works best when it is individually tailored. Our clinical staff conducts a comprehensive evaluation of each teen pre- and post-admission in order to develop a customized, highly detailed treatment plan that is constantly updated based on treatment progress. Our robust clinical program includes individual and family therapy at least 5 times a week; weekly psychiatry; groups on DBT Skills Training, Anger Management, Relapse Prevention, and Seeking Safety; and daily academic support. (Families from out-of-state participate in family therapy remotely.) Teens also participate in experiential therapies (e.g. equine, music, art, fitness, yoga, hiking, and meditation) as well as 12-Step/SMART Recovery programs for those struggling with dual diagnoses.
