Teens in our outpatient and residential programs build self-compassion, resilience, healthy coping skills, and more trusting relationships with parents and peers. Each client’s individualized treatment plan is informed by their specific needs and history and designed by mental health treatment specialists who are the best in their respective fields. Newport Academy provides options for teens and families at each step along the journey of healing. Our full continuum of care includes residential treatment centers; a full suite of outpatient programming, with Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP), Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP), and outpatient services with a flexible number of days per week; continuing care through virtual sessions; and a robust Alumni program providing online and in-person events and support groups. All of our programs are accredited by the Joint Commission for Behavioral Healthcare. Through an in-depth assessment process, our clinical experts determine the optimal level of care for each client, at one of our residential or outpatient locations around the country. Clients can step down from our residential care directly into our outpatient programming, to ensure a smooth transition and consistent clinical approach. Or an adolescent can enroll in our outpatient programming to receive the ongoing support, structure, and community that’s not available in weekly therapy. To support families in their efforts to access quality adolescent treatment, Newport Academy works with leading providers of healthcare insurance to provide financing options. We have built collaborative relationships with a wide range of healthcare payers, and are adding new In-Network partners on an ongoing basis. In addition, we excel in negotiating Single Case Agreements to allow coverage by out-of-network insurers.
