Red Oak Recovery has three clinically driven, trauma-focused programs that offer gender-specific care to young adult men ages 18-30 (Red Oak), young adult women ages 18-35 (The Willows), and adolescent boys ages 14-17 (Foothills). Our master’s level clinicians, dually licensed to treat mental health and addiction, integrate research-supported practices with complementary modalities to help clients honor themselves, recognize self-worth, and pursue positive, lasting change. Red Oak and Foothills generally provide primary substance use treatment, while the Willows can also provide treatment for primary mental health. Our developmentally specific treatment methods consider clients’ unique stories, trauma history, gender challenges, substance use history, relapse triggers, and mental health issues to allow for holistic treatment of the whole person. Red Oak Recovery also offers Recovery Management services based on the Gorski-CENAPS model of relapse prevention for clients who have experienced or are about to experience a return to use after roughly 90 days of sobriety. With an integrated system of care, CooperRiis offers six levels of treatment, The CooperRiis at Asheville Program (residential treatment), The Farm at Mill Spring (residential treatment), Extended Care at the Farm (semi-transitional), The Asheville Community Program (transitional living with two levels of support), and a Partial Hospitalization Program or "PHP" (outpatient care).

Our clinician-founded and operated recovery center offers a mindfulness-based, comprehensive, evidence based, and integrative approach to recovery. Therefore we have intentionally created our program to be a small, client focused program treating only 16 individuals at a time. Located in Raleigh, NC, Green Hill is an academic and career-oriented program that offers transitional living and intensive outpatient (IOP) services. Green Hill provides structured sober living, academic and college admissions counseling, career counseling, experiential and holistic therapy as well as intensive outpatient (IOP) clinical services to young adults who are dealing with substance use disorder and other co-occurring disorders. Green Hill focuses on helping 18-30 year old clients develop the skills needed to maintain healthy sobriety and lead successful lives. Our clients' clinical work is complemented by weekly meetings with our Academic and Career Team who assist with college admissions, academic advising, and career counseling.
