Groups
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)

Each group is structured after Marsha Linehan’s Dialectical Behavioral Therapy treatment. Individuals who participate in DBT groups must also participate in individual therapy. Each group consists of four modules, including Mindfulness, Distress Tolerance, Emotion Regulation, and Interpersonal Effectiveness skills. Each module lasts six to eight weeks and individuals are asked to commit to treatment one module at a time. These groups aim to support individuals who experience emotion dysregulation and lack effective coping skills.

Radically Open DBT

RO-DBT skills classes are designed using Dr. Thomas Lynch’s Radically Open Dialectical Behavior Therapy treatment. RO-DBT is a “new” evidence-based treatment with over 20 years of clinical research. RO-DBT is designed to treat disorders of overcontrol, including diagnoses of treatment-resistant depression and anxiety, anorexia, obsessive-compulsive personality disorder, and autism spectrum diagnoses. Classes are designed for those who struggle with emotional loneliness, have a hard time connecting with others, avoid risks and new experiences, and struggle to relax. Classes teach participants skills to increase receptivity and openness, flexibility, and social connectedness-the three core components of emotional well-being.
