Depending on their unique circumstances, patients may enter treatment at our detox level of care before transitioning to our inpatient co-occurring disorders treatment program.
At MeadowWood Behavioral Health Hospital, we integrate principles of the 12-Step recovery model into elements of our inpatient co-occurring disorders treatment program. After detoxing, patients can take part in various therapies that are designed to help them address behavioral health concerns and begin preparing for life after discharge. Each patient gets an individualized treatment plan that outlines which services they may receive while in our care. Treatment plans might include medication management services, creative/expressive therapy, family therapy, and educational lectures. In therapy sessions, patients can learn relapse prevention strategies and how to develop healthy coping skills. Group therapy sessions are facilitated by licensed master social workers (LMSWs) and certified alcohol and drug counselors (CADCs) who can provide invaluable support in helping patients achieve lifelong healing and recovery.
