Dakota Boys and Girls Ranch provides a place to heal for children, ages 10-18, who have psychiatric, behavioral, and trauma issues. Our skilled professionals wrap children and their families with the care, compassion, and expertise they need to heal. We provide a continuum of services based on the individual needs of each child, including: psychiatric care, medication management, therapy, therapy groups, spiritual life, occupational therapy, equine-assisted psychotherapy, wellness activities, and more. We also provide comprehensive medical care to ensure the child's physical needs are met and they are up-to-date with medical, dental, and vision care. Our on-campus school provides a unique, therapeutic educational environment that helps children develop new academic and study skills, social and emotional skills, strategies to manage inappropriate behaviors, and new ways to feel and experience school success.
