Silver Spring residential treatment was uniquely created to provide integrative, holistic mental health treatment to adults in a home like environment. We provide the highest quality assessment, diagnosis, stabilization and treatment for adults with psychiatric issues. Psychiatric issues in adults can sometimes be complex and can result from a mix of medical, neurological and even chronic pain. Therefore, our medical team includes a psychiatrist, neurologist, pain management doctor and internist who all work together. We partner with a university to provide advanced cognitive testing, imaging scans and lab tests. We are uniquely licensed to provide cutting edge treatments such as ketamine, TMS and ECT and we offer crisis stabilization. Treatment is provided with kindness, empathy, dignity, and respect. Each treatment plan is designed by our interdisciplinary team and treatment plans evolve during the course of treatment. We reassess and re-evaluate each patient frequently, in order to help them continue to thrive mentally, emotionally and physically. Intensive therapeutics
Our philosophy is to minimize medications when possible and We offer the following intensive and highly effective therapeutics: Cognitive Stimulation Therapy, Grief & Loss Groups, Music and Art Therapy Groups, Stress Management & Relaxation Groups: Goal is to teach our clients techniques to practice relaxation and reduce stress such as mindfulness meditation, guided imagery, breathing exercises. Empowerment Groups: Personal empowerment and efficacy can be important in maintaining dignity and healthy, connected relationships. We work with many hospitals to provide a step down aftercare to seniors who had been treated for a severe acute psychiatric disorder. We are a trusted source for families looking to continue treatment for a loved one after a hospitalization. We offer intensive specialty medical care by a internal medicine doctor, neurologist, pain medicine doctor in addition to a highly experienced psychiatrist. Our small group setting and beautiful home environment is the perfect setting for mental health recovery. We only accept a small number of clients at a time to ensure each one receives the highest degree of personalized care and one to one attention. We work very closely with families and stay in close communication with them to ensure their valuable input is heard and regular treatment updates are given.
