Inpatient Treatment
At Cross Creek Hospital Together with Ascension Seton, located in Austin, Texas, we provide inpatient treatment for adults age 18 and older who are struggling with mental health concerns and need immediate stabilization and support. Our inpatient program offers clinically excellent therapies in a safe and secure environment where patients can begin their healing journeys. Inpatient treatment typically lasts seven to 10 days, and this short-term program can help people learn healthy coping skills and techniques for managing their symptoms. Treatment Approach
In our adult inpatient program, we follow a person-centered approach to treatment that caters to each patient’s individual needs. We provide treatment for adults who have anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, and co-occurring addictions. Before admission, each patient completes a comprehensive assessment with a member of our intake team to determine if inpatient treatment is appropriate. The information we collect from this evaluation helps us personalize a patient’s care and recommend therapies that can benefit them the most. In inpatient treatment, patients participate in twice-daily group therapy sessions where they can have discussions with their peers in a nonjudgmental environment. We offer process, psychoeducation, and life skills groups. Depending on their needs, some patients choose to engage in individual and family counseling sessions while in inpatient treatment. When people are discharged from our inpatient program, our staff works closely with them to prepare them for the next treatment steps, which may include outpatient programming. Our Treatment Center
