Crisis Respite Unit (CRU)
Our Crisis Respite Unit provides a safe, structured, short‑term residential setting for individuals experiencing emotional overwhelm, burnout, family conflict, court‑related stress, or early‑stage crisis. Designed as a stabilizing alternative to inpatient hospitalization, the CRU offers 24/7 supportive supervision, restorative routines, and a peaceful environment where guests can decompress, reset, and regain clarity. Care is trauma‑informed and faith‑rooted, integrating emotional support, biblical guidance (when desired), and practical coping strategies. We also provide Intellectual & Developmental Disabilities (IDD) support.
IDD Support Services
We also offer Intellectual & Developmental Disabilities (IDD) support, along with Mental Health and Substance Abuse Screenings, ensuring each guest receives a complete, holistic understanding of their needs during their stay.

The SASSI is the Substance Abuse Subtle Screening Inventory. It is designed to identify the presence or absence of a substance use disorder. The SASSI-4 screens for substance abuse disorders along the full DSM-5 continuum of severity: mild, moderate, and severe substance use disorder. Court Ordered Approved.

A Parenting Coordinator helps parents improve communication, resolve disputes, and make timely child?related decisions, focusing on the child’s best interests and keeping families out of repeated litigation. In Texas, a Parenting Facilitator has broader authority, including monitoring compliance with court orders, offering detailed guidance, and reporting concerns or progress back to the court when necessary. Both roles aim to reduce conflict, strengthen cooperation, and create consistent, healthy routines that protect children from the emotional impact of parental disputes.
