About

Creative Care

It is the mission of Creative Care to provide compassionate, professional care within innovative models of treatment to ensure long-term recovery for persons seeking to address mental health and addiction conditions in support of improving their quality of life. Creative Care believes understanding early experiences and underlying causes that manifest as mental health difficulties and addiction struggles throughout adulthood is a core component of successful recovery. Taking a biopsychosocial approach within a psychoanalytic framework of evidence-based practices is optimal for supporting clients and their families on the road to recovery. Creative Care’s collaborative, compassionate care facilitated by dedicated professional employees is a key component for improving the quality of life of the persons served. We feel that person-centered care, implemented through individualized treatment based on the needs of each person served, is supportive of optimal recovery- based outcomes. Our innovative approaches within a dual diagnosis approach to treatment, developed by its dedicated founders/owners, provide a foundation for long-term spiritually-based recovery.

Creative Care

Since 1989, Creative Care’s mission is to understand early experiences and underlying causes that manifest as mental health difficulties and addiction struggles throughout adulthood. Our founders and current owners, Drs. Morteza and Karen Khaleghi, pioneered a dual diagnosis approach in the treatment of addiction and have dedicated their lives to caring for clients and their families. With the unwavering and unparalleled efforts of our professional staff, Creative Care utilizes a biopsychosocial approach, a psychoanalytic frame, and evidence-based practices to get clients and families on the road to recovery. Utilizing compassion and integrity, Creative Care implements individualized treatment plans to assist clients in connecting the dots and improving their quality of life. The clinical team is made up of compassionate, experienced professionals trained in a wide variety of therapeutic modalities that meet the needs of each individual client. Each client receives a comprehensive assessment by our triple-board certified psychiatrist and seasoned clinicians, ensuring diagnostic accuracy through psychological evaluation, physical examinations, and clinical observation.

Creative Care

Creative Care takes a comprehensive, gentle approach with each client. Through our clinically-robust program comprised of highly trained, compassionate clinical and medical staff, we uncover the underlying causes fueling the pain to begin the healing process and walk with you through the road to recovery from mental health conditions and addiction.

The DBT/CBT group takes a skill-based approach informed by Dialectical Behavior Therapy. This group is organized around four modules: mindfulness, emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness. It is through the acquisition of these skills that one learns to respond to severe emotion dysregulation, impulsivity, and reactivity, with healthier, safer, and adaptive behaviors.
