My ideal client struggles with anxiety, rumination, or obsessive patterns that make it hard to feel present. They often question themselves and feel emotionally overloaded. They want clarity, balance, and healthier ways to process what they’re feeling. Their goal is to understand the connection between their thoughts and emotions so they can respond thoughtfully rather than react automatically.
My role is to facilitate an environment that creates comfort and safety in order to process and address these patterns and welcome learning from failure. I believe therapy should be for everyone which requires meeting clients where they are

Hi, I’m Claire, one of the therapists at Creasman Counseling. I provide individual therapy to adults 18+ and work with a wide range of mental health concerns. I specialize in working with queer, trans, and non-monogamous clients, those experiencing grief or end-of-life, neurodivergence, and anyone navigating relationship challenges, life transitions, identity questions, or other existential exploration. I offer virtual therapy to clients across North Carolina, with a focus on serving areas where therapists with anti-oppression, liberation-based values may be less accessible, though I welcome clients from all parts of the state.

Life changes can come at us fast, and we don't always have the support we need in our families and friend groups to weather the transitions. Getting a first big job, coming out, starting or ending a relationship, or learning we have an illness can rock our sense of who we are and where we belong. We all need a safe space to express our hurt and joy; my job as a counselor is to help you find that space and help you cultivate the skills to get your needs met effectively.

Seeking liberation from suffering in the modern world can be daunting and confusing. Western therapy alone can sometimes miss the mark when our struggles bring us in contact with deep, existential pain. But pain can be a powerful doorway to understanding and peace with the right support. I specialize in integrating Buddhist Psychology with general counseling to help folks struggling to find their purpose, resolve past trauma, and live an ethical and wholehearted life.

Hi! I’m Kristina (she/her/hers), a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Associate passionate about helping others through their unique journey of mental health exploration. I have always been fascinated by the human condition, and as a therapist, I aim to integrate the knowledge gained in a professional capacity and lived experience of mental health struggles to support the healing and growth of all my clients. One of the most important aspects of a positive experience is the counselor-client relationship. In therapy, clients are asked to come as their most authentic selves, and I strive to do the same.

As of 8/24/26, I have openings for new clients. Beginning therapy and taking the chance to trust someone new is an act of great courage. You may find yourself seeking therapy because you’ve noticed that the strategies that you learned in the past to protect yourself from pain are causing pain in your current life and relationships. I particularly enjoy working with queer, trans, and questioning clients, individuals with anxiety, & young adults with problems in familial, friendship, romantic or sexual relationships. You can expect me to join our relationship with curiosity, kindness, and at times a new or challenging perspective.
