Residential Treatment
Cove Forge Behavioral Health offers a residential treatment program for adults in Williamsburg, Pennsylvania. This program treats adults age 18 and older who are struggling with addictions to alcohol, benzodiazepines, opioids, prescription drugs, and other substances. We also treat adults who have co-occurring mental health concerns such as anxiety, posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), bipolar disorder, and depression. Patients live on campus in gender-specific housing and take part in therapies during the day. Patients can enter our residential treatment program directly or as a step-down from an acute inpatient program. Individuals typically remain in our residential program for four weeks, depending on their unique needs and circumstances. We strive to provide a safe and welcoming space where patients can learn about addiction and relapse prevention, have guided discussions with their peers, and prepare for a life of recovery. When taking part in our residential program, you have the opportunity to participate in structured therapies and activities every day of the week. Therapies may incorporate 12-Step principles, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), reality therapy, and motivational interviewing (MI). Discussions in therapy sessions typically focus on topics such as relapse prevention, mental health disorders, building healthy relationships, and developing coping skills. At Cove Forge Behavioral Health, we recognize that recovery is a lifelong journey. Our residential treatment program is designed to provide the support necessary for individuals to build a foundation for lasting success. Our campus is located on 65 acres in Williamsburg, Pennsylvania, and features campus-style housing, outdoor areas for recreation, and spacious rooms for group therapies. We employ a multidisciplinary team of behavioral health professionals, which may include certified recovery specialists, psychiatrists, dietitians, nursing staff, and counselors. Throughout your time in treatment, our staff will work with you to determine what needs you may have in the next stage of your recovery journey. We utilize Community Rehabilitation Services (CRS), an aftercare service that helps individuals who have behavioral health concerns reintegrate into the community following treatment. They may help by referring patients to outpatient therapy and scheduling appointments for mental healthcare or medical services.
