Why CCPC-Ohio
The Director of CCPC-Ohio is well known in the greater Cincinnati and Dayton areas for her work with families getting divorced. CCPC-Ohio's providers include those with family therapy skills, individual CBT skills for anxiety or depression, parent training, management of hostility between parents, and adjusting to divorce. The basic approach we use is CBT (we capitalize it because we are a part of ccbtcolumbus.com, and receive advanced training in CBT). We also use systems family therapy, DBT, EMDR, and trauma-informed methods. We are caring, yet professional. We are competent, yet not rigid.
Being Tuned into Your Needs
Empathy for your needs and feelings is a cornerstone for treatment. The research says that if we validate your feelings and work to resolve your needs with coping and other evidence-based strategies, you likely will benefit from therapy. We know patients want professionals who are genuinely interested in helping them, and we make sure we provide that experience. And, we know that depression and anxiety are distressing and unsettling, and when you come to therapy, you want to feel heard, to know you're listened to, and to leave with ideas and strategies that help you. Our years of experience and commitment to humanizing the science of counseling and therapy help us to make solid therapy services available to you.
