Residential Treatment Center/Mental Health
The Cottages on Mountain Creek, licensed by the state and accredited by the Joint Commission, provides a holistic approach for stabilization and reintegration back into society for adults living with a Mental Health diagnosis (Schizophrenia, Bipolar, OCD, Major Depression and Anxiety, as well as other mental health diagnoses). The Cottages also has a 4th-year Resident Rotation with the Depart. of Psychiatry of a major Teaching Hospital. Programming includes a 24/7 residential treatment program as well as transitional independent living housing (mental health) which includes case management. We also offer day programming, as well as an out-patient drug and alcohol program (separate program from the mental health program). Additional services include assistance with helping our clients obtain employment. Programming for seniors includes depression and anxiety, Behavioral Health Care and Memory Loss (documented and outcome driven). Individual therapy includes CBT, DBT/RO-DBT, EMDR and PTSD. The Cottages is located in Sandy Springs and Buckhead, Georgia. Call to discuss monthly fees.

What makes us Different? The Cottages has a 4th-year Resident Rotation (Department of Psychiatry) with a Teaching Hospital located in metro-Atlanta. The Cottages is accredited by the Joint Commission. Our clinical team includes a Medical Doctor (Psychiatrist and Addictionologist), Clinical Director, licensed therapists, registered nurse and a variety of adjunct therapists. The program treats the whole body through extensive therapeutic health and wellness offerings that also includes a Physical Therapy Garden, as well as yoga, neck massage, nutrition classes, fitness walks, aromatherapy, art therapy, music therapy and cooking classes.

Mental Health Issues
Programming provides a stabilization program for adults living with mental illnesses (Schizophrenia, Bi-Polar, Anxiety, Depression, etc.). For those requiring supervision, we provide 24/7 supervision (secure facility including room/ board, medication/ case management and adjunct /clinical therapies). For those not requiring supervision, transitional housing is available (case management, medication management, plus access to therapies and meals, as approved by the family). Day Programming and individual therapy is also available for clients living with mental health issues and dual diagnosis, as well as addictive disorders. Senior dual diagnosis programming is also provided (memory care and mental health issues).
