Full Service Outpatient Mental Health Clinic
Located in Rockville, Silver Spring and Bethesda, Cornerstone Montgomery's Outpatient Mental Health Clinics serve clients 12 years and older in Montgomery County Maryland. We specialize in the treatment of Mood Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, Psychotic Disorders and Co-Occurring disorders including substance use. Our team of therapists, nurse practicioners, and psychiatrists provide full psychosocial evaluations, treatment planning, individual, group and family therapy and medication management, tailoring treatment to each clients' individual needs.
What our Clients Can Expect from Treatment
Our clinical team works with each client to learn more about their illness and diagnosis, learn about which medications can help and how, and provide psycho-education to empower each participant to take the lead in their treatment goals. We work with clients to learn and practice coping skills and strategies to manage symptoms and more effectively work toward personal goals. We strive to enable each client to live a life of their choosing and facilitate connection to resources and peer supports. Our clinical team is made up of individual therapists with a wide range of experience and a variety of treatment approaches. Our individual treatment modalities include: trauma work, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), substance use, and ACT. We offer general support groups in addition to DBT specific support groups. Our Psychiatrists and Nurse Practicioners are available to prescribe medication across all diagnoses as needed. We are licensed to prescirve Suboxone, Vivitrol and other medications to support our clients working toward substance use recovery.
