We offer hope and healing
Our healing mission is to improve the lives of individuals impeded by mental health challenges or mental illness to achieve their highest levels of functioning and fulfillment. CooperRiis’ progressive residential healing communities and transitional living program are located in the scenic mountains of Western North Carolina in Asheville and Mill Spring. We offer hope and healing to adults who struggle with mental health challenges. Our approach is not based on “quick fixes” but grounded in research and the proven healing power of community in a residential setting. Our philosophy: mind and heart working together. Simply put, we believe that whole person care, delivered in a community setting is the most powerful and effective way to address challenging mental health issues. With a full continuum of care, CooperRiis offers four levels of treatment, The CooperRiis at Asheville Program, The Farm at Mill Spring, The Asheville Community Program, and CooperRiis Support.
Our philosophy: mind and heart working together
The CooperRiis at Asheville program offers short-term programming, stabilization, and a foundation for longer-term recovery and a potential next step into our residential program on The Farm, or The Asheville Community Program. This program benefits individuals in early recovery and those experiencing setbacks or recurrent mental health and substance use challenges. CooperRiis at Asheville provides a unique blend of support through an integrated system of intensive clinical services and independent living skill-building. Out of network insurance accepted (sorry no Medicaid or Medicare). The Farm in Mill Spring, embraces a holistic approach to recovery that emphasizes three areas: Community Work & Service, Clinical Support, and Holistic Health and Wellness. The Farm is a longer-term program that offers a safe and structured environment that supports our residents along their journey to mental health recovery (private pay). The Asheville Community Program is a semi-independent living arrangement with live in-staff to support community members in daily living (private pay). CooperRiis Support is offered where a resident is living independently, with clinical supports (private pay).
