Milestone Recovery offers treatment to individuals who are struggling with substance abuse as well as co-occurring disorders. At Milestone Recovery, we developed our trauma informed program around the belief that in order to provide effective care, we need to understand and acknowledge a persons life experiences. We approach substance abuse and mental health treatment from a biopsychosocial model, meaning we explore the interconnection between a persons biological, psychological, and socio-environmental factors. Our groups were developed using evidence based practices and focus on developing emotional regulation, establishing healthy problem solving skills, altering negative thinking patterns, reducing interpersonal conflict, improving relationships, reducing negative self-talk and increasing feelings of self-worth. Arizona Behavioral Counseling addresses the needs of each individual by using a series of assessment inventories which provide insight into the clients behavioral and substance abuse history. ASAP, the Adolescent Substance Abuse Program, has proven itself Arizona's finest outpatient treatment program for substance abuse in teens ages 13-19 since 1991. In 2021 ASAP proudly celebrated its 30-year anniversary. ASAP is an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP).
