Focus provides compassionate and comprehensive treatment for adults struggling with eating disorders, substance use disorders, and dual diagnosis for both. Our whole-person approach reflects each patient's unique journey and life experiences so that care is genuine and personalized. Our Chattanooga location offers onsite medical detox, residential, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient levels of care. We provide screenings and assessments to help determine the appropriate level of treatment needed, as well as same day benefits verification. Additionally, our Knoxville location offers an eating disorder intensive outpatient program for adolescents and adults, as well as outpatient therapy and nutrition services. Eating Disorders: We believe that food and body struggles emerge for a reason, yet the specific chain of life events, beliefs, genetics, and brain chemistry differ for each person. At Focus, patients are valued for their unique paths, and we personalize care plans according to those needs and goals. Within a medically-safe and therapeutic environment, individuals may explore their deeper struggles and uncover the root causes of the eating disorder. Additionally, we believe that food is medicine, and with safe and effective nourishment, the relationship between food and body can be repaired. Focus specializes in anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder, ARFID, body dysmorphia, and similar disordered eating issues, as well as co-occurring substance use disorders. While our Chattanooga location treats adults (18+), our Knoxville program works with both adults and adolescents (13 & up). Our Substance Abuse Program
Substance Use: Everyone’s path leading to addiction is different. At Focus, many of our team members are walking their own paths of recovery, so we understand how our patients feel. Within a medically-safe and supportive environment, we customize care to treat more than just the symptoms of addiction. Our drug and alcohol rehab offers a compassionate and non-judgmental place to explore underlying emotional and physical issues for mind, body, and spirit to find healing. Treatment includes onsite detox, individual and group therapy, family therapy, and a variety of evidenced-based approaches including art therapy, mindfulness, yoga, adventure programming, 12-step philosophies, psychoeducation, relapse prevention planning, and more. Additionally, co-occurring eating disorders and mental health concerns can be addressed throughout a patient's stay. Intensive Outpatient Program for Substance Abuse
The Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) for Substance Use is designed to support adults (18 and up) struggling with chemical dependency and co-occurring mental health issues. IOP is typically recommended in early addiction or as a step down program from a higher level of care. Groups are held 3 days per week with AM and PM options.

Intensive Outpatient Program for Eating Disorders
Our Knoxville location, Focus Integrative Centers, offers an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) for eating disorders. IOP is available to all genders ages 13 and up, with separate tracks for adolescents and adults. Groups are held 3 days per week in the late afternoon/evening.
