About
Specialize in Academic Success & Mental Health
Provide executive functioning coaching,therapeutic & clinical services to young adults, 18-30+. It is an individualized service, tailored to meet the developmental, recovery, emotional, and academic needs of young adults who live in or around Boulder and Golden, CO, and those who are seeking aftercare support and coming from home or a primary treatment program. We provide coaching and support to students who attend University of Colorado, Boulder, Front Range Community College, Naropa University, and School of Mines in Golden, CO. Parents often reach out for our expertise, intervention, and support when their child is struggling with mental health concerns, substance abuse, digital media overuse/addiction, executive functioning deficits, mental health issues, independent living, and academic challenges. Our typical client desires academic success and/or employment, improved practical skills, a sense of community, and emotional health. Our team of academic & executive functioning coaches, therapeutic coaches, parent coaches, and therapists develop and provide an individualized program based on the teen & young adults needs and wants, as well as their parents.
Digital Media Treatment & Education Center
Collegiate Coaching Services offers integrated services, along with their sister program, Digital Media Treatment & Education Center (DTEC) (digitalmediatreatment.com). Many of our students and clients who seek services at Collegiate Coaching Services struggle with digital media overuse and this impacts academic success, mental wellness and positive connection with others. The team of clinicians at DTEC specialize in the education and treatment of digital media overuse, which includes, video game addiction, social media, information overload, spending compulsions, and online pornography overuse and addiction. They will collaborate with the students/clients coach at Collegiate Coaching Services to support overall success. We prioritize family involvement because we know that including family members supports overall change, and the health and wellness of the whole family. Families find that when involved in treatment they achieve what they came in to change in a more timely fashion. We provide expert advice, education and guidance to individuals and families seeking to learn more about how to use digital media in a healthy, effective manner, as well as to those who are in the depths of addiction. We specialize in the common co-existing issues found alongside or underneath digital media overuse/addiction, such as anxiety, isolation, depression, academic challenges and failure, inability to obtain or keep employment, lying and deceitful behavior, as well as, aggressive and acting out behaviors.
Community & Independent Living Support
We provide community-based support and clinical services to young adults who are coping with dual diagnosis issues, such as substance abuse, video game & Internet addiction, mood disorders, social anxiety, and depression, high functioning autism. We provide support to young adults who desire and require support to live independently. We coach and support our clients to learn and follow through with independent living skills & practical skills, such as organization, scheduling, budgeting, and cooking. Our coaches meet their clients in the home, on the campus, and in the community to facilitate community connections, academic success, & recovery success. Our relational approach with our clients promotes honesty, motivation, and a willingness to take healthy risks and show up to their life.

Collegiate Coaching Services's Groups
Young Adult Recovery Support Group
We offer a men's and women's recovery group each week. The group is led be a licensed therapist who is also a licensed addiction counselor. This group is a place to meet others who desire recovery and overall wellness. The group members will receive education and support in the areas of recovery from Internet Internet/video game/porn abuse, isolation," failure to launch", improved interpersonal effectiveness skills to promote connection with others. Cognitive behavioral therapy skills and dialectical behavioral skills will be taught and members will be encouraged to utilize these skills regularly. The groups are ongoing.
