Sandstone Care provides substance use, addiction, and mental health treatment for young adults (ages 18 to 30) and adolescents (ages 13 to 18) including Residential Treatment, Day Treatment (PHP), Intensive Outpatient (IOP), and General Outpatient (OP) programming.

At Iris Healing Retreat, our clinical & medical team work closely together to create an individualized treatment plan designed to treat the whole person - Mind, Body, and Spirit. We address our clients addiction problem on a deeper level by simultaneously healing underlying mental health issue(s) or past trauma's. Iris Healing Retreat is well known for specializing in caring for clients considered to be 'dual-diagnosis'. We employ Doctorate-level clinicans and Reputable Psychiatrists to address the mental health component, and utilize the latest in available technology to heal any underlying traumas that our clients may have. In fact, Iris utilizes Brainspotting, the latest and greatest technology available for the treatment of trauma. Additionally, each client has accesss to 3x weekly neuro-feedback sessions , between one and two private, face-to-face individual sessions per week, and family therapy sessions, which can be done via video-conference if family is not local. Our clients also participate in daily psycho-educational group sessions that focus on a variety of topics, such as Relapse Prevention, Emotional Process Groups, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and much more.

Our program specializes in treating adolescents ages 14-19 who are experiencing problems with substance abuse and mental health issues including depression, anxiety, ADHD, and who would benefit from an outpatient treatment program.

We specialize in helping those struggling with Substance Use Disorder including alcohol, marijuana, heroin and opiates, polysubstance, benzodiazepine, and stimulants. In addition to substance abuse treatment we offer a high level of support to those with co-occurring diagnosis including anxiety, depression, bipolar, PTSD, and schizoaffective disorder. The majority of our clients come to us after multiple treatment experiences that were ineffective or not enough, and has them looking for long-term stabilization and recovery skills. Many struggle with frequent triggers and need to have a high level of clinical support. Clients also come to us later in the process of their recovery and have the goal of maintaining sobriety long-term. We are also experienced with the LGBTQ+ community.
